The accuracy of diaphragm dosing pumps is affected by many system conditions, especially those without back pressure (up to approximately 1 bar). Inertia in the accelerated fluid results in overdosing during unpressurized system dosing.  Furthermore, dosing pumps need protection from excessive pressure to prevent undesired dosing quantities caused by a siphon effect. The PENTABLOC multifunctional valve is essential for preventing these issues.
